MIRUKII sells matcha ceremony tools and sets through this website. By placing an order you agree to these terms. MIRUKII operates from Australia under an Australian Business Number, selling worldwide.

All prices are in US dollars and shown before shipping until checkout. An order is accepted when payment clears and we send your order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if a product is out of stock or a pricing error appears — and will refund any payment in full.

Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. You authorise us to charge the total shown at checkout, including shipping where applicable.

Dispatch is within 48 hours. Delivery estimates (6-12 days to AU, US, UK, CA, DE, NZ) are estimates, not guarantees — customs and carrier delays are outside our control, and no refund is owed for delivery within 30 days of dispatch. Risk passes to you on delivery to the address you provided. Title passes on full payment.

International orders may attract import duties or taxes levied by your country; these are your responsibility as the importer of record. If you refuse a parcel over duties, the carrier destroys or returns it at our cost — refused parcels are refunded minus a 25% restocking and shipping-recovery fee.

You are responsible for entering a complete and correct delivery address. Orders shipped to an incorrect address supplied at checkout are not refundable; we will reship once at 50% of the order value as a goodwill gesture.

A parcel is lost only when tracking shows no delivery scan 30 days after dispatch. Lost parcels are replaced or refunded in full — your choice. Tracking marked "delivered" is treated as delivered; we will help you raise a carrier investigation, but a delivered-scan parcel is not refundable.

Contact hello@mirukii.com before filing a dispute with your bank — we resolve breakage, loss, and returns faster than any card issuer, and every case above already covers you.

Where a dispute is filed on an order with a valid delivered tracking scan, we will contest it with the full evidence trail: tracking, delivery scan, this policy page as presented at checkout, and our correspondence. Friendly fraud costs small stores real money, and we pursue it.

Fraudulent disputes may result in the order details being shared with fraud-prevention networks and the address being declined for future orders.

Ceramics occasionally break in transit. Photograph the parcel and the piece within 7 days of delivery and we replace it at no cost — no return required. The guarantee covers transit damage, not drops or chips after delivery.

Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days for unused pieces in original packaging; contact hello@mirukii.com first so we can issue the return label. Change-of-mind returns carry the return shipping cost — we deduct the actual return label cost from the refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of the atelier receiving the return.

Hygiene: the ceremonial matcha powder is a food product. Once its seal is opened or broken it cannot be returned or resold, and no refund applies except where required by law.

Orders cancelled after dispatch cannot be intercepted — wait for delivery and use the returns process instead.

Australian Consumer Law: our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Kiln-changed glazes are made by fire: each bowl's pattern is unique and will differ from the photographs, which show the glaze family, not your exact piece. Dimensions are approximate. This uniqueness is the point of the product, not a defect.

All content on this site — photography, copy, design, and the MIRUKII name — is our property. Don't reproduce it commercially without written permission.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection law.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Contact us first — hello@mirukii.com resolves almost everything faster than a court.
