About
We make the instruments, not the powder.
MIRUKII began with a simple observation: the matcha renaissance was selling everyone powder, and almost no one the tools that make the powder worth drinking.
So we went to the kilns. Our chawan are fired in small batches until the glaze shifts into patterns no two bowls share. Our chasen are hand-cut from single lengths of bamboo. Our sets arrive photographed exactly as they ship — what you see is what the kiln made for you.
We don't sell matcha. We sell the two quiet minutes it takes to make it properly.
